Specified Skilled Worker (SSW) is a status of residence that allows foreign nationals to work in Japan in a specific Japanese industry.

Features of SSW 

To apply for an SSW Visa , the individual must be over 18 years old and possess necessary skill to work without any particular training . The visa applicants are required to pass the skill test to obtain SSW (ii) Visa .
